Truly 4.5 stars but I rounded up. Seasonal or made-in-house flavors would elevate their coffee game a lot. It’s good but I also taste it’s a darker roast, I’m more light/med guy so the coffee tasted bolder and had less kick (less caffeine). Pros: very nice atmosphere, it’s modern, Service is great, the coffee tasted of high quality (fresh / local roaster I would guess?). I’d come back - and I do recommend it but don’t come looking for PSL or Lavender.

Onto Coffee just opened their brick-and-mortar in the Belmar Shopping District, and it’s quickly become one of my favorite spots. The drinks are amazing — the iced ube latte and the black sesame matcha latte were standouts, and I loved the coconut water with ube cream. For food, the spicy chicken katsu sando and ube strawberry sando were both fantastic, and the mayo tuna onigiri hit the spot. They’re also partnering with Black Box Bakery now, which means you can grab classic pastries like their strawberry croissant to go with your coffee. On top of all that, the owners Jessie and Jason are wonderful people who make the whole experience feel welcoming and genuine. You really can’t go wrong here. Highly recommend checking them out!

This coffee and sando shop is absolutely delightful! We had the black sesame latte, the Gui-Hua latte, the chicken katsu sando, the strawberry ube sando, and the ube cromuffin. The drinks were unique and flavorful, the sandos were absolutely delicious, and the pastry was both light and decadent. The atmosphere in the shop was both bright ans cozy and I could definitely see myself both popping in for a drink and a snack and also spending an afternoon hanging out there with a friend for a couple of hours. The service was outstanding, we got our drinks and food quickly and the owners are just the best (like, using your dog for the logo and shop mascot? Adorable!).

Discovered this coffee shop while we were charging our car across the street. I like the bright and airy space. It seemed a lot bigger due to the high ceilings and big windows. Didn't try any food. The Hojicha Latté was tasty (matcha, but toasted). The staff was also nice and welcoming even though I asked a bunch of questions. Prices are fair. Highly recommend!

Onto Coffee is the coolest coffee shop I have ever been to! When you walk through the door, you are greeted warmly by the staff. The variety of drinks are listed and explained if you have questions. The shop itself is adorable and so comfortable! The drink selections are plentiful, too. I tried the Black Sesame Latte and it was perfection. The iced Vienna Coffee was like drinking a fun dessert. I loved it. Great job, Onto! Super impressed! I’ll be back again soon. ❤️

I’ve lived in the area for over 2.5 years and I’m kicking myself for not finding Onto sooner! Their spicy katsu sandwich is the best thing I’ve eaten in a min, and their iced coconut latte was also excellent. Service was quick & friendly. Truly no notes.

I’ve been meaning to try Onto for a while and finally made it with my fiancé. We got recommended drinks - I got the Vienna coffee and he got the Black Sesame Latte, both incredible! The Black Sesame was so cool. We split an Egg Salad Spam sando (10/10!!!!) and an Ube Strawberry sando (😍) and loved ‘em. Great atmosphere and great service. Definitely will be back!

While I was in the Lakewood area, I was thrilled to finally check out this coffee shop! The interior was bright and clean. The fact that it is a coffee/tea shop but they also had very delicious sandos made it even better. I had the chicken katsu sando to go for lunch and it was very good and the sauce they put was delicious with it! I needed a strong, caffeinated drink to get back to work and their Hong Kong latte did not disappoint and had amazing flavor; the black tea base with the double espresso was refreshing. I'd love to return should I be in the area.

Stopped by this coffee shop when we were in the area. The Hong Kong Latte is strong and bold while the Uber Latte is sweet and creamy. We also love the onigiri and Sandos, the Szechuan Mala Chicken is authentic, flavorful with a spice kick to make it even tastier. The Egg Salad Sando is refreshing. The store is clean and a whole vibe for you to chill, hang out or get your work done. We will definitely be back.

Onto coffee is a great place to check out! The service, food, and atmosphere were fantastic. I got the spicy chicken katsu and chicken mala sandwich. I also got a summer special drink which I believe was a blueberry lavender iced green tee. I also had a couple desserts which I believe were the tiramisu croissant cube and blueberry cream twirl donut or something… it was so amazing! Primose was the manager and was a delight to deal with. Great place!!
